What to expect upon Arrival

There is ample parking at the base of the private driveway. The area is close to the main gate to ease the movement of luggage in and out of the rooms, and can be accessed by any type of vehicle. 

Adelaide will be at the Quinta to help arrange breakfast, assist with laundry and keep the rooms tidy. If you let her know the timing you would like for breakfast she can help put everything together, however, she will need supplies to create the morning meal. If you can shop for pastries, eggs, bread etc, she will gladly put everything out on platters and trays. If there are fresh fruits such as oranges, she will make juice, but oranges are a seasonal item on the farm and may not be available during your stay. She speaks Portuguese, so having an online translator handy on your phone can help make sure communication is not an issue. We recommend DeepL, as it uses European Portuguese rather than Google Translate’s Brazilian version of Portuguese.

 
Helder is our groundskeeper and handyman. If anything should go wrong don’t hesitate to reach out to him. Again, Portuguese is  necessary and WhatsApp that has been translated to Portuguese via DeepL is the way to go.
