Restaurante Solar do Montemuro

High atop Cinfães lies a rustic and extremely traditional Portuguese dining experience. Within a short drive you will be able to experience great views and authentic Portuguese cuisine including chorizo, blood sausage and local steaks. 

Solar DOURO

A very intimate fine dining restaurant about 30 minutes from the Quinta. Flaming Chorizo is a highlight here with succulent dishes of bacalau , octopus, steaks and fresh vegetables. Make sure to get the special crème brûlée made without milk. 

Restaurante Serpa Pinto

Located right at the marina in Porto Antigo, a short 12 minutes away from the Quinta you will find fine dining right at edge of the river Douro. Local specialties and seasonal favorites as well as breathtaking views of the riverfront. 

DOC 

One of the few Michelin starred restaurants in the Douro Valley, DOC is literally a dock on the Douro river. With inspired dishes curated by Chef Rui Paula, you will find some of the most elevated dishes in the region. This one is a bit of a drive from the Quinta but if you want to experiment with amazing food expect to travel a little over an hour to arrive there.

Traditional bakery with breads and pasteurized as well as espresso and other coffee specialties. 

Intermarché Cinfães

The largest grocery store in Cinfães which also has a bakery and coffee. 

Sabores e Memórias

A hip and trendy decor with a “buffet breakfast” consisting of eggs, pancakes, toast, juice and a coffee. 

Bar Cais Porto Antigo

A small waterfront bar with snacks such as tremoços (a bean that is served cold and is popped out of its pod before being eaten, similar to edamame), bifanas, omelets and toasted sandwiches. 

Bar Esplanada do Parque de Lazer de Pias

A riverfront cafe along the Bestancia with a waterfall view, swimming pond and snack foods like French fries, toasted sandwiches and burgers. Don’t miss the fresh fruit sangria by the pitcher. 

Petiscaria Douro Bar

Local fish specialties as well as bar snack favorites like bifana. Full bar with occasional impromptu live music.
