There are many way to get to Quinta da Ventuzela

Rental cars are available at all major airports in Portugal. The usuals, such as Hertz, Thrifty etc. are all just outside the airport, however, it’s always best to book in advance. Remember, the roads in many rural areas can be quite tight, sometimes  smaller is better, so get just what you need and skip the bigger models. After you grab your rental car just plug in Quinta da Ventuzela to your navigation and you’re off. The drive is just over an hour and once you cross over the locks (the bridge over the Douro River) you will be just minutes from the Quinta. 

Although not as convenient as some airports, it is still possible to use a train to get to Quinta da Ventuzela. You can use a ride sharing app like Uber or Bolt to take you to the train station “Campanha” and ride the train to Moistero. From Mosteiro you will need to call a taxi to get to the Quinta.

You can alway book a private transfer to Quinta da Ventuzela. If you would rather leave the driving to a professional then book a private transfer with one of the companies from Porto. Living Tours is an example but there are many companies that offer private transfers from Porto.

A taxi or ride share is another way to get from Porto to the Quinta. Keep in mind that although taxis will be available in areas around the Quinta such as Cinfães, ride share will be limited.
